Introduction to my project in Social Engagement(GIG1005)

Assalamualaikum and a very good day to you guys!

Before that, I would like to introduce myself.My name is Chairiel Azizi bin Khyrudin,19 years old and currently a first year degree student in Software Engineering course at the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology(FCSIT),University of Malaya. The reason I am writing this post is to introduce and explain one of the subject that I am taking right now.

This subject is called Social Engagement under the course code GIG1005. This subject require us to organise a volunteerism project that can bring benefits and give back to the society.So,the things that me and my team had discussed earlier from week one,we are supposely going to do the project with the students of SK Bangsar. We will visit them and perform the modules that we agreed and fulfill the project’s criteria.These criteria include sustainable, impactful ,long term engagement,transformation initiatives and empowerment.

But unfortunately,the bloody hell COVID-19 outbreak that is currently happening worldwide across the globe,almost every country including Malaysia had enforce the restricted movement order(RMO) to prevent the pandemic virus from spreading and decrease the total of sacrifices.So, my lecturers decided to cancel all the projects and proposed to promote social distancing,avoid large gatherings and just stay at home as what the government had ordered and advice the people.Moreover,for now our plan is to write this journals to keep of our progress and create a video regarding the COVID-19 virus and how it affects the world world.

So that’s it for this post.I will continue to update this journal next time.See you guys in the next post!

Execution of My Project

Execution of My Project Assalamualaikum and hello to my fellow readers!! I believe its have been about 2 weeks since my last post right? Ehehe… So we all know that our country has already been in Covid-19 outbreak phase 2. As being said by the government,our beloved country might experience phase 3 Covid-19 outbreak if Malaysian does’nt give full cooperation to the authorities and support the government’s initiatives to break the outbreak chain to prevent the pandemic from spreading and cause a more serious events to this country. And because of our number of infected case is highly peak increasing, the Restricted Movement Order(RMO) has been extended until 14 th  April 2020. On 10 th  April,the government will discuss whether we will need to extend the RMO or not. But looking at the rising number of cases,it is more likely the RMO will extend much longer. Preparation to execute my project

Preparation(The 1 st  Meeting) - 26/02/2020 - March 22, 2020 1535 Hrs Assalamualaikum and a very good day to all of my readers! This post is about how we prepare for our project for the Social Engagement subject.Our first meeting occured in the second week of our first semester.The meeting started at 4 pm and ended at 6pm.
